Well, it's official. I'm catching up with the rest of the world. In 3-5 days, I will have this wonderful little 1G MP3 Player in my hands. I'm all excited about it, if you can't tell! ; ) And best thing of all is the incredible deal I got on it. Let me just say, tigerdirect.com rocks!!!
Now, in a related note....please let me know what online music services you guys use, what they charge, etc.

Yay for you! I really love my MP3 player, I know you will too. I don't really download music from the internet...I've just taken music from my cds.

I use my vast and expansive collection of music scammed while Napster was in full swing. And it didn't cost me a diddely dime. What can I say, I'm a pirate born 200 years too late!

What a great new toy for you! Glad you got such a good deal on it. Kelsey got an MP3 player for Christmas and is loving it. We haven't downloaded anything online yet though, I am to cheap to pay for them I guess. LOL

I started downloading songs for computer use back in '04 and I've used both iTunes and Napster for pay. I think they both cost 99 cents per song.
YM got me a 256MB player for Christmas and I found out the hard way that iTunes will not cross platforms easily. With a few exceptions, you pretty much have to have an i-______ player to use iTunes.
So I'd suggest a service like Napster or even Wal-Mart, which provides songs for 88 cents, last I checked.
Your player probably comes with software to load your songs onto your player after they are purchased.
